Scent of Eros Review
Scent of Eros was one of the first pheromones available at Love-Scent. Created by James Kohl, the author of the book by the same name, this pheromone cologne has elicited responses much like my previously reviewed Chikara. I really like Scent of Eros pheromones, but I feel that Chikara seems to provoke nearly the same response more effectively. I'll elaborate below, but if you want, you can skip right to the Scent of Eros pheromones score.
This product has a sharp, fruitlike scent to it. It's a tiny bit musky, but overall, very refreshing. I personally like the smell, but it seems less "rich" than both Chikara and Alter-Ego pheromone colognes. Just about everyone I've shown it to like it, but it's usually somewhere in the middle of the group. When I had my mom smell it, she said it smelled almost exactly like my brother. Weird.
Scent of Eros: Ingredients
As far as I can tell, the pheromones in Scent of Eros are a four to one ratio of androstenol and androsterone, respectively. Because there are only two pheromones, it can easily be used as part of a mix or cocktail. Because it lacks androstenone or other more powerful(sometimes dangerous) ingredients, however, I've found it to be useful in situations where you want to lighten the mood but not necessarily attract a mate.
Scent of Eros has a simple, to-the-point design. The label is a white background with black and red lettering. The ingredients are not listed on the product. The bottle has a roll-top applicator which makes it easy to apply a small amount. This helps to avoid overdosing.
I haven't been able to find Scent of Eros pheromones anywhere but Love-Scent. This leads me to believe that they are the primary and possibly only distributor of the product. Even the designer's main page links only to Love-Scent. Because of this, it seems a bit exclusive.
Scent of Eros Research
I have found SoE to be a great friendmaking tool - but nothing more - when used by itself. It seems to catalyze friendly communication between strangers when I apply a liberal amount (three swipes/passes with the applicator on my neck) and has little noticeable effect at all with lower dosages (one pass). Because the effects are much slighter than with an overbearing product like Primal Instinct, it has been harder for me to try to isolate situations that were directly changed by Scent of Eros cologne.
One situation that was particularly notable was (three days ago) on "Independence Day" here in the USA. I went to the DECC on Lake Superior at 4:00pm to get a spot to see the fireworks later that night. I had applied Scent of Eros pheromones at 3:35pm. Feeling a slight "friendly pheromone buzz" in myself as we arrived, I figured that it was about all I'd get from other people, too. I was surprised to notice several "stares" or "long smiles" I got from girls that looked back at me as I looked back at them. Most of them were my age or younger. Also, most of them had boyfriends (doh!). It lasted for about 3 hours before it wore off. I re-applied at 8:00pm and noticed similar effects again for a while near the fairground. It was pretty hot out; we could probably attribute the short effectiveness timeframe to excessive sweating on my part. It was a good night.

Pheromones Reviewer Says:
I like Scent of Eros. It's earns a healthy rating from me. I noticed some benefits from wearing it, and they were generally positive. SoE's only drawback is that it isn't particularly powerful. I'm still glad it's a part of my collection.

I have personally used Scent of Eros and think it’s a great product. The creator, James Kohl, is one of the first few people to make a pheromone cologne as such.
Anyone who has used this product, I would appreciate it if they could vote at http://www.mypheromonereviews.com/pheromone-review/scent-of-eros-pheromone-review
I am trying to get a poll going to try and find the most effective product based on other users experience.
Cheers,
Michael
